- Cooked Rice
- Curd
- Salt
- Green chili - 2
- Ginger - small piece
- Pepper powder
- Coriander leaves
- For tadka/tempering:
- Oil
- chana dal
- Urad dal
- Jeera/Cumin
- Mustard seeds
- Red chili
- Curry leaves
Preparation:
- If you are taking raw rice then pressure cook the rinsed rice with 2 1/2 cups of water for 4 whistles.

2) Heat oil in a pan for tadka/tempering.
Add the chana dal , urad dal ,mustard seeds, jeera,red chili and let them splutter. Add the green chillies, chopped ginger, curry leaves and fry for a few seconds.

3) After this tempering cools down add it to the curd rice along with the chopped Coriander leaves and mix well.

4) Add sufficient amount of pepper powder to the curd rice and mix well.

5) Daddojanam/Curd rice is ready, Garnish and serve with pomegranate seeds.
